Dell UK today rolled out the Latitude E6510 and E6410 new business-class laptops with the latest Intel processors. The 15.6-inch E6510 and 14.1-inch E6410 feature the Intel Core i5 and i7 CPU, up to i7-820QM, the Intel HD integrated or nVidia NVS 3100M 512MB dedicated graphics, up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, a DVD burner, Blu-Ray optical drive, up to 500GB of HDD and up to 256GB SSD. What’s more, the Dell Latitude E6510 can also be configured with full HD 1920 x 1080 display. Other features include an optional mobile broadband connectivity, an optional WiMAX, and an advanced security features.

Acer has unveiled two new convertible tablets in the form of the Acer Aspire 1825PT and 1825PTZ. Both tablet PCs feature a 11.6-inch capacitive touchscreen display and run on Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium. The high-end Acer Aspire 1825PT comes equipped with a 1.3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 processor, a 4GB of RAM, and a 250GB hard drive. Meanwhile, the Acer Aspire 1820PTZ has a 1.3GHz Intel Pentium SU4100 processor, a 250GB hard drive, and a 3GB of RAM.

Eurocom is now offering an updated version of its D900F Panther laptop series that comes with the newest Intel Core i7-980X processor. At a starting price of $3,675, the system offers a 17-inch 1920 x 1200 Glossy Glare LCD display, an Intel Core i7-980X Gulftown Extreme 3.33GHz processor, a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280M 1GB graphics card, a 6GB DDR3 RAM, a 250GB hard drive, a 3.0MP webcam, a DVD burner, a 7-in-1 card reader, an HDMI port, WiFi (optional), Bluetooth (optional), a 12-cell battery and runs on Linux OS.

The MSI P600 will be available in the coming weeks for unannounced price yet.

The HP Mini 110 is now available subsidized from US wireless carrier Verizon. Of course, you need to sign up for a 2 year service contract at $60 per month. That means over the course of the next 24 months, you will spend $1470. But if you are looking for a 3G-enabled netbook and not in a position to make a huge upfront payment, this is definitely an offer you will want to avail of. But if 3G is not your thing, then you will be able to get better deals elsewhere.

The Core Grid Vigood U220 sells for the equivalent of about $350.

LG today announced the availability of their latest lightweight laptops in South Korea. Weighing at only 1.2kg, the X-Note Mini X200 features a 10.1-inch LCD monitor with a 1366×768 resolution with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N450 CPU, a 1GB RAM, a 250GB HDD, and an Intel GMA3150 graphics.

Weights 1.3kg, the T280 series comes with either a 1.3GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 or an Intel Pentium Dual Processor SU4100, a 11.6-inch LCD monitor with a 1366×768 resolution, a 2GB RAM, an Intel GMA4500M HD, and a 500GB HDD. Both laptops support WiFi connectivity.

MSI has announced two new gaming laptops to its range in the form of the 15.4-inch GX640 and 17-inch GX740. Both machines are equipped with the latest Intel Core i5 processor, an Intel HM55 chipset, an ATI Radeon HD5850 1GB graphics card (GX640), an ATI Radeon HD5870 1GB graphics card (GX740), a 4GB RAM, a 640GB hard drive, a 2MP webcam, a Blu-ray drive, a 4-in-1 card reader, WiFi, Bluetooth, a 9-cell battery and Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OS. The GX640 and GX740 will start shipping next month for unannounced price yet.

The HP Envy 13 has also had its price cut by $300. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo SL9300 processor with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 (512MB) discrete graphics. It ships with a 4-cell battery. Both machines can be customized now.

The IdeaPad S10-3 has a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, GMA 3150 graphics, 1 GB of RAM and a 160GB hard drive. It features a 10.1 inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels. The netbook runs Windows 7 Starter Edition.

The Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3 weighs 2.6 pounds. It features a new design and a professional look. The lid also seems better at hiding fingerprints than other IdeaPad models. Laptop Magazine has published a detailed review of the netbook and they are impressed with the netbook, particularly its keyboard. As for the touchpad, well, it is another story. In a bid to save some space, Lenovo integrated the touchpad buttons on to the touchpad. This arrangement will certainly take some time getting used to. Worse still, it doesn’t function properly. Other drawbacks are the less RAM (You can’t get more than 1GB) and less storage.

The netbook lasted for nearly 7 hours in the battery test which isn’t bad. The IdeaPad S10-3 starts at $349. It is now available for purchase from Amazon.
